Hi friends! We have started garden planning, and I have a very exciting seed haul to share with you all.
I have such big dreams for our garden space. My husband and I grew a small garden a year or so ago when we were renting, but now that we own a home with a couple acres, I can’t wait to have a large garden to fill with flowers and veggies. Gardens are a lot of work, but they are so worth it.
Gardening and harvesting can teach you so many things about life.. I can remember sitting on the front porch and shelling purplehull peas when I was younger. I didn’t appreciate the peas leaving me with purple stained fingers or the work it took to shell them, but I enjoyed the conversations we had while doing it. Looking back now, I can see how it taught me so much about the value of being self sufficient, working hard, and who it is that blesses us with the growth of our plants.
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 1 Corinthians 3:7

I hope to one day be able to teach my own children the same lessons and pass down the knowledge that I gain over the years! So, let’s dive on in to where I am starting and what I have purchased so far for this year!

2022 Seed Haul & Garden Planning: STORAGE
I purchased this container to use as seed storage. I used a label maker to label each box. I’m really pleased with the quality of it, and it should hold up for a long time.
2022 Seed Haul & Garden Planning: CANNING BOOK
I picked this book up off of amazon. Most gardeners that I follow highly recommend this book if you are wanting to preserve and grow your own food. If you want to save money, buy a used copy especially if you want hardback.
I hope you guys enjoyed this seed haul plus the few extra goodies that I shared! I will be bringing you along with me throughout this new journey. Leave a comment down below what you are growing in your garden this year! ♡
